Sogrape featured in "The Best of the Year" by Revista de Vinhos

The winners of the 27th edition of the "Best of the Year" awards, promoted annually by Revista de Vinhos to celebrate the best of the year in the sector, are now known.

Our Head of Winemaking Alentejo and Bucelas, Luís Cabral de Almeida, was distinguished as "Winemaker of the Year", while Casa Ferreirinha Papa Figos Red 2020 was elected "Purchase of the Year 2023".

In turn, Casa Ferreirinha Reserva Especial 2014 made the Top 30 Excellence list, as well as the "Best of Portugal" list.

In the latter category, several Sogrape wines were also recognized, including Herdade do Peso Ícone 2018, Quinta dos Carvalhais Branco Especial, Antónia Adelaide Ferreira 2019, Casa Ferreirinha Quinta da Leda 2020, Quinta da Romeira Morgado Sta. Catherina 2022 and Sandeman Tawny 40 Years.

In the "Innovation / Research of the Year" category, the award went to the PreVineGrape consortium, which brings together Sogrape, Deifil Technology, João Nicolau de Almeida & Filhos, IPB and ADVID.
